Controversy has arisen between fishermen, fish activists and researchers over a fishing method commonly called light fishing, for catching mukene (neobola bradior) from shared fishing grounds. The Nile perch fishermen say using the method, which uses light from pressure lamps, some fishermen trap a lot of mukene, which is food for the Nile Perch. Seoul Semiconductor Unveils Warm White Acriche of 42 lm/W
SEOUL, KOREA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 04/19/07 -- Seoul Semiconductor (KOSDAQ: 046890), the country's leading LED producer, announced today that Acriche, the world's first semiconductor lighting source for AC power outlets, can now achieve warm white of near-daylight quality, making it suitable for general and indoor lighting applications. Runaway truck causes havoc in Germany
Essen - A runaway truck demolished six cars, street lamps and traffic signals before crashing into a house in the German city of Essen, police said on Thursday. The driver had parked and locked the 40-ton vehicle at the side of the road and was at home when it suddenly moved off down the sloping street at 10pm on Wednesday.
